With all this talk about Obama’s approval ratings, let’s put them in perspective: Presidential Approval Ratings from 1945-2008.
It’s easy to forget that every top rated president in modern history had low approval ratings at this point in time. It’s also easy to overlook disapproval ratings, which to me are a better indicator of how the country really feels, since ‘meh’ isn’t a vote up or down.
Taken that way, this guy takes the real award for modern presidential floppage.
